The Mackinac Bridge is impressive from any vantage point but none is more majestic than the view from passing underneath on a small boat. The water spray in the picture was on the boat window.

Additional information about The Mighty Mac. The Mackinac Bridge opened in 1957 connecting the Lower Peninsula with its Upper counterpart. It is the longest suspension bridge in the Western Hemisphere. Sometimes referred to as “Big Mac” or “Mighty Mac,” Bill chose to call his photo “Mighty Mac” as he was cruising under the majestic bridge during a boat ride to Mackinac Island.
